The animation shows how to extend the golf club shaft, release it and close the shaft.

IMPORTANT

ALWAYS TURN THE SHAFT IN A CLOCKWISE DIRECTION.

If you loosen the shaft anticlockwise you MUST tighten it in a clockwise direction. The ability to remove the shaft from the clubhead in the anticlockwise direction is ONLY for packing purposes and the shaft should never feel loose before swinging.
